Montañita has also established itself as a training center linked to surfing and sustainable tourism, promoting courses and programs that cover areas ranging from sports to environmental and linguistic fields.

Accommodation courses were held for Tourism Service Providers, workshops on Security and Accommodation Protocols for the regional police, as well as training in Emergency Protocols and National Programs for Representatives of Tourism Companies. In addition, socialization activities on regulatory systems were organized for representatives of the tourism sector.

In the field of surfing, noteworthy programs include the Surf Instructor Course with international ISA certification – Level I, and the training of surf judges (levels I and II), supported by the Ecuadorian Association of Judges and the Ecuadorian Surf Federation.

Additionally, surf training and lessons open to the community and visitors are offered, along with environmental courses focused on beach care, as well as Spanish and English courses, reinforcing social, cultural, and professional integration.
