OLAS PRO CIRCUIT
The OLAS PRO TOUR SEMILLEROS is a surfing circuit for up-and-coming surfers created by several cities in South America, part of the World Surf Cities Network . Its main objective is to foster exchange between surfers from different cities within the organization, which is extremely beneficial for their development, personal and cultural growth, and for the promotion of surfing . Facilitating these opportunities can not only improve the individual performance of athletes but also strengthen the global surfing community, promoting a spirit of collaboration and connection between different regions.
Involvement in the Exchange of approximately 10 to 12 cities from the WSCN , strengthening institutional ties;
Diversification of surfing experiences and technical improvement , through the sharing of knowledge and surfing techniques through training and competitions, as well as adaptation to new types of waves – beach breaks , point breaks or reef breaks ;
Personal and cultural growth , new environments, customs and traditions allow one to absorb the local surf culture, learning about the traditions and lifestyles of local surfers, strengthening resilience and developing social skills;
Competitiveness and preparation allow surfers to prepare for other types of events with greater visibility and importance;
Promotion, visibility and sports development can spark interest from the media and the local population, fostering and stimulating the emergence of new talents, and can also be a way to attract new or future support;
Physical and mental development , participation and training in different locations, motivating and stimulating training.

FINAL MEETINGS
The annual Final Meetings represent the high point of the circuit, combining the closing of the competition with high-level strategic meetings to define the future of the WSCN . These meetings demonstrate the strong partnership between Portugal and the Network. The management and planning meetings involve the participation of European cities and the entire Network.
PORTUGAL 2024
The 2024 Final Meeting in Viana do Castelo and Ericeira served to consolidate the partnership between the World Surf Cities Network and the cities themselves, establishing an exchange model. The main focus was the transfer of knowledge in event management and in the protection and sustainability of World Surfing Reserves.


PORTUGAL 2025
The 2025 Final Meeting will be the culmination of the circuit, concluding a cycle that has already covered multiple stages in Latin American countries (Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Brazil). The event is held in collaboration with the Viana Surf Club and the Ericeira Surf Club, and with the support of the Municipalities of Viana do Castelo, Matosinhos, Nazaré and Mafra.
This meeting will not only celebrate the talent of the seedbed, awarding the winners of the circuit in each of its categories, but will also define the strategic guidelines for the next cycle (2026-2030) of the WSCN , focusing on coastal management and sustainability models. This pioneering project includes a free agenda that reinforces the Network's values, promoting tourism and cultural exchange.
