INTEREST

The main objective is to consolidate Montañita as an international surf tourism destination, already recognized as one of the main ones in Latin America, and to improve the quality of the experience for arriving tourists, ensuring sustainable development of the territory and its community.

In addition to surfing, the region also focuses on adventure tourism activities such as paragliding, hiking, cycling, diving, and kayaking, diversifying its offerings and expanding its visitor base. There are also plans to strengthen strategic alliances with other WSCN cities, learning from management models and best practices that allow for the application of sustainable development solutions in Montañita .

Another focus is the continuous improvement of the quality of tourism offerings, safety, and local services, with surfing as a benchmark in all areas of action. To this end, Montañita has collaborated with entities such as the ISA and seeks to obtain certifications and distinctive seals that reinforce its position as a destination of excellence.
