The experience of the Municipality of Ribamontán al Mar in promoting surfing, developing the blue economy and the surf industry, improving competitiveness and local employment, and implementing sustainable development policies can contribute to the collective progress of the cities that are part of the World Surf Cities Network .

The European projects in which it participates — such as Surfing Europe, ECHOES, WAVES LINK AND TEACH, and INCLUSEA — reinforce its leading role in the sector and allow it to create new social, economic, and environmental initiatives shared with the network.
