The main objectives include:
Large Event Management: Sharing and learning about the logistical organization, security, and media coverage of high-risk, global surfing events, such as the Nazaré Tow Surfing Challenge.
Innovation and Science: To develop and share research on coastal dynamics, oceanography, and the Nazaré Canyon phenomenon, applying cutting-edge science to optimize wave forecasting and safety operations.
Developing Experiential Tourism: Promoting Nazaré as a destination that combines extreme surfing with its rich history and gastronomy, diversifying the tourism offer beyond Praia do Norte (North Beach).
