The Surf industry forms part of the Surf Industry Cluster “Surf City Donostia” managed by Fomento de San Sebastián.
The Surf City Donostia Cluster is a network of businesses, institutions and socio-economic agents created to foster synergies and collaboration among its members, and boost the competitiveness of the
Surf sector in the city of Donostia. One of its main objectives is to attract initiatives and projects in the city to boost the Surf sector, by assisting with business initiatives, technological innovation within the industry, and the sector's marketing and global positioning, among others.
Objectives:
- To bring together the agents operating in the Surf sector, including the Surf industry's entire value chain: producer, suppliers of goods and services, distributors, knowledge/training facilitators etc.
- To create a stable local sectoral public/private collaboration space, a Collaborative Network to generate shared value in terms of innovation and enhanced competitiveness.
- External promotion: improving the projection of the city's Surf sector through the implementation of local and international projects.
